RBC Mnemonics
I had a little trouble remembering which risks are measured in R1-R5 so I decided to remember FECRN (Fixed income, Equities, Credit, Reserves, NWP) as which efFECts R N ("are in") R1-R5.
(If you want to add R0's Subsidiaries and Miscellaneous I suppose you could complain that So Many efFECts R N RBC, but it's 1-5 that were giving me trouble.)

I know what you mean. All these things you have to memorize all run together. My S-FEC hint wasn't the greatest. I just couldn't think of anything better. I'll link to your hint from the wiki. Maybe others will find it helpful or inspire them to come up with their own. Thx!
My hint is SAFECO ReP. A for cAt (also for Asset risk), Re for Reserves & P for Premium. Safeco Representative.
Thx! I've mentioned your alternate hint in the wiki at this link:
I'm personally thinking of using "FEC RON'S CAT" for anyone that might want another option
FEC = Fixed income, equity, and credit = R1 - R3
R = Reserve Risk = R4
O = Operational Risk
N = NWP = R5
S = Subsidiary/Misc = R0
Cat = Catastrophe = Rcat
It's silly enough for me to remember and it mostly keeps R1-R5 in order (just need to remember that operational risk is separate, but that doesn't seem that hard to do). Once you have R1-R5 you know that catastrophe is Rcat which leaves Subsidiary/Misc as R0.
Thx! I've linked to it from here:
Um so this is super silly and not super professional but like Comadiroma said, its so silly that I can't forget it now.
"Sean FECs heR Write in the Pword " like that old viral video
Sean =Subsidiary = R0
FECs = Fixed income, equity, credit = R1-R3
heR = Reserve = R4
Write = NWP = R5 (this one's kind of a long shot but I get there with write vs right)
in the Pword (Cat) = Catastrophe = Rcat
And perks, its in the correct order too!
That's the spirit! Silly = Memorable!
I went with short is simple.
Subsidiary FECs R N 0-5, gato (CAT-o). : "Subsidiary effects are 'in' 0 through 5, gato."
Gato (luckily) means cat in Spanish. (CAT in this sense).
These hints are really getting personalized, which is good! I have added you to the list of hint contributors here:
Another mnemonic for SFECRNCO (Sally Finds Every Cat Really Needs Cuddles Often). Doesn't relate to material, and "Cat" is not in the right place for catastrophe, but it always stayed in my memory which is what is necessary).

I put my trick here: Show Me the efFECts R iN COlorado - Subsidiary, miscellaneous, fixed income, equity, credit, reserved, net WP, catastrophe and operational!
Awesome! I've added you to the list here:
