In the pdf linked in the syllabus (https://www.casact.org/sites/default/files/2023-05/6U_AAA_NAIC_COPLFR_P_C_Practice_Note.pdf) there is a "Public Policy Overview" on page 198-216 of the pdf. I don't see any mention of this on the syllabus but it seems different from the Public Policy Practice Notes. Are these pages included on the syllabus to your knowledge?

    The link provided on the CAS website seems to contain more than what is specifically listed in the syllabus. The syllabus lists this:

    • “A Public Policy Practice Note, Statements of Actuarial Opinion on Property & Casualty Loss Reserves, 2022.”

    The practice note you referenced from pages 198-216 is this:

    • "An Overview for P/C Insurers’ Audit Committees: Effective Use of Actuarial Loss Reserve Expertise"

    As you said, the latter is not listed as being part of the syllabus even though it's in that pdf. I don't know why they included it.
