It says the actuary's range of reasonable estimation of loss and LAE reserve is in the AOS but not in the SAO, would this not be part of the OPINION section? Or for that section do you not have to disclose your range, just simply say if the carried reserves are within the range or not?

No, the range is not provided in the SAO. The SAO is available to the public but the AOS is not, partly because the AOS provides more detailed information about the actuary's work that the company may not want to be made public.
