a home in disrepair

a home in disrepair is listed as a risks that are often covered under FAIR plans. (at the top of the FAIR Plans section)
but isn't that in direct contradiction to the eligibility:
property must not be vacant or trespassed onto, must not be damaged or poorly maintained

  • I had done research on FAIR plans beyond what was covered in the CAS syllabus reading and that's where I got those 3 "covered" risks. There may be a nuance to the second bullet point "home in disrepair" where certain types of disrepair are covered but taken at face value, it does seem to contradict the eligibility criterion that a home "must not be damaged or poorly maintained." So I will remove that reference to "home in disrepair" since it is not specifically stated in the syllabus reading.
