Mnemonic for Insurer Requirements
Not a super important reading but a quick mnemonic device for the insurer requirements on federally regulated insurer is:
UMAD:
- Undergo stress testing
- Meet liquidity requirements
- Adhere to capital standards
- Develop living wills
And you can just connect it by asking insurers "Are U MAD that the Fed is watching you?"
