:D (Scroll up for original post)

    Da-Da-Da Ping, Ping
    Da-Da-Da Ping, Ping
    Da-Da-Da Ping, Ping, PING!

(I've linked to here from the wiki.)

And here is the section of the wiki this hint refers to:

  • An extended note to help, "Basic Beethoven" starts with BRASS(SS)

    Balance sheet presentation of Reinsurance
    Anticipated Salvage/Subrogation
    Structured Settlements

Additionally (but less obvious) the "Da-Da-Da" is delaying the final note (delay = defer, think ritardando) upon which Beethoven's next theme becomes quieter (think quieter or "diminuendo" ~ discount, or in the next term, PDR, D is deficiency (= not loud enough)).

You can also use music to remember that C before Da-Da-Da is "ceded reinsurance" by thinking that musically it helps to "recede" before the loud Da-Da-Da.
